I've found that it's just the right angle and height for standing (I'm preferring more toward level for the sake of gravity but higher for the sake of hovering) and best sounding resonance if I perch the Tri-Stander mount on the rubber pieces --- took some adjusting of the various parts, but I've carefully marked everything that's needed!
And it gets just the right height and angle for sitting too --- much steeper and not too far off the floor, and the legs don't stick out as much as the Tri-Stander does for that position. The angle of spread sideways is especially important to keep it stable and to make everything fit just so when standing --- I'm considering putting marks on the bottom rail of the dulcimer for that! I used it Tuesday for my concert at Colonial Williamsburg, and it gave a really nice touch to the stage setup --- a different kind of classiness than the Tri-Stander. Thanks again! Tim |
