Difficult growing conditions are what make the bird's-eye-like knots in the Hard Maple of the body of these hammers. The grips are Inlace Acrylester - an optical grade polyester resin that is much more difficult to work with and less impact resistant than the Acrylic Acetate we use for most of our Signature series, but the depth of color and pearlescent quality are unequaled.
