Classic Wisp Hammered Dulcimer Hammer - Padauk with Cherry grip
Padauk with Cherry grip
Length: 8 3/8 inches; Weight: 6.6 grams
Padauk (pah-DUKE) is a West African hardwood sometimes called Vermillion for the red-orange color of the heartwood when freshly cut. Strips of this color can be seen in the body of these Wisps. The grips are American Cherry. Keeping the hammers out of direct sunlight will help preserve the color of both woods.
