Classic Wisp Hammered Dulcimer Hammer - Cherry with Padauk grip
Cherry with Padauk grip
Length: 8 3/8 inches; Weight: 7.9 grams
Padauk (pah-DUKE) is a West African hardwood sometimes called Vermillion for the red-orange color of the heartwood when freshly cut. Strips of this color can be seen in the grips of these Wisps. The body is American Cherry. Keeping the hammers out of direct sunlight will help preserve the color of both woods.
