8⅜ inches; leather on one edge

SKU 24-11-12

Padauk (pah-DUKE) is a West African hardwood sometimes called Vermillion for the red-orange color of the heartwood when freshly cut. A hint of this color can still be seen in the body of this beautiful pair of hammers. The grips are from sustainably harvested Olivewood from the Holy Land – Bethlehem, Israel.  It has a wonderful, striped grain which often swirls and curls, especially in older wood.
