Knob on top locks back leg in place and will never break or loosen unitntentionally
Instrument is protected from scratches by webbing and rubber bumpers
Tail sling cradles the instrument and keeps it off the ground or floor
Adjustable mid-band
– leave loose to keep your instrument from tipping out should someone bump the stand
– tighten so strap is barely touching the strings to securely pick up and move instrument and stand together (make sure instrument is well-seated in the tail sling before picking up)
Small but stable footprint – you can keep you instrument right next to your chair in class
Folds flat to carry
